Burning Up Madonna

This video gets to the point of what I’m trying to do; “sell” my childhood Madonna memories. Really, pause and reflect on them, what did I learn, what did they mean to me. And make room for new ones.  If that doesn’t work I’ll burn them, like what allegedly happened to Madonna’s childhood home.

“I want to rule the world.” Everybody wants to rule the world. I didn’t see this live, but it echos on. And Madonna on Dick Clark passing.

Burning Up Madonna

Madonna, I need a break. 30 years ago, the music brought me to you. Now, I’m turning off the radio, boxing up the magazines and rolling up the posters. I’m ready to spend a year without you Madonna. No listening to Madonna, no buying Madonna, no reading Madonna. In an effort to make room for other influences, to fill my Madonna-hole with something else. Before I do, I will randomly recount my memories of each single, then stop playing them. Once I get through the 77 singles, Madonna is on a no playlist for a year. Just to see what happens.
